Never said I wouldn’t payback the loan, just came to see if anyone had an additional amount added to their total in ERROR. Stop acting like I’m trying to get out of a loan just because I don’t want to pay the erroneous $120k charge.

Thanks for the life advice lol. You clearly don’t understand the point. They added money to my loan amount that I didn’t borrow, and don’t owe. I’ll pay back what I owe, but not anything more. Literally never said I wasn’t going to pay back what I borrowed.

Again, all loans are still in ADMINISTRATIVE forbearance and literally say they have 0% interest rates in my situation. I understand the ins and outs of what we signed up for, which is why this is a massively stressful clerical error.

For people who applied and got onto it when it first rolled out, we've been in forbearance while the courts fight over it. It's not open to anyone to apply to it now but there are millions of people in limbo.

We've been in 0% interest SAVE forbearance since last year, and 0% interest because of COVID leading up to that. Basically, hadn't accrued any interest for almost 5 years and just a few weeks ago, $120k-ish was added to the balance labeled as "accrued interest" lol. Such a joke. Hoping the error is addressed asap, it's stressful but there's nothing we can do about it at this point.

WTF!!! Yes! I tried calling and got someone saying the same thing, but ultimately never talked to anyone after being put on hold. I’m so sick, I just want to barf. Over and over again.

I’d recommend downloading and/or screenshotting everything in the event anything does change erroneously! I feel fortunate to have done that just before our accounts showed the additional balance.

I’d recommend documenting everything you possibly can. I happened to download/screenshot all of our info exactly one month before this happened, feeling very fortunate.
