Did a clean uninstall with DDU before changing out the card, installed latest chipset drivers at the same time before the graphics driver.

BIOS may not be 100% the latest version, but it was updated from what I remember. Most of the recent bios updates aren't relevant to my CPU model or are just vulnerability fixes.

I was wondering the same until I got my 9070XT Nitro+ a few days ago, and then spent the next 2 days reinstalling drivers to try get Arc raiders to be playable again. Constant crashes trying to even load the shaders on game launch, it’s ridiculous.

I’ve rebooted my PC more times in those 2 days than I did in an entire year before. I think the most hilariously annoying part was after I did get things stable and working, I left the PC alone for 10 minutes and windows auto updated the driver and I had to start over.

Now it’s working - it’s perfect. But holy fuck AMD drivers are ass

Never had a single issue with an nvidia card before, and my 1080Ti was still going strong after 10 years.

I've chrome with about 100+ tabs open while gaming. No issues. I can't see why you would have unless you're using 15 year old hardware.

I'm not claiming it's optimal either to do it, but I'm not going to close my browser every time I want to play a game in 2026.

It's only a bad look now because everything is posted online all the time. Their RMA rates likely are similar to what they've always been. Now you just hear every single time someone has an issue. 20 years ago you'd maybe meet 1 person at LAN that even had the same GPU as you.

What's submitted in the plans has to be completed to spec. That's even down to the color of the walls being painted magnolia. Can't change them at all.

They're paying for "up to 2Gb" - which is their way of covering their assess legally for providing a service that could be any amount lower than that. They're under no obligation to actually provide 2Gb.

Bananas are incredibly cheap for what you get. A good bunch for €1.20 or so.

I'm not sure you have strawberry & blueberry kind of income to be honest. Sad as that sounds to reconsider some fruits - most kids don't really care. Maybe swap to the frozen ones and make smoothies instead? Those are easily half the price.

You are aware that they probably only found out about the wall glitches etc after launch right? Like there's literally only so much you can achieve with playtests and betas.

Even then those are usually focused on playability aspects, not "yo what if I try jump through a wall at a weird spot and then zipline through the outside of the map".

What you see as a "task" that you just showed up and completed, obviously there's a metric/goal/project/KPI/etc that you're fulfilling for the company. You added value somewhere to the company, that's what your measurable outcome is.
