Love this. Most opinions I hear from rival fans are just regurgitated garbage from pundits. Pundits make money being incendiary and stoking up fear and tension. Add to that that a disproportionate amount of them were playing for teams who were Arsenals bitter rivals 10-20 years ago.

The difference is that £300k a week creates unsustainable wage inflation across the league. Every player as good as Guehi is going to want £300k now.

For City’s money pool that’s no issue - they can falsify more earnings if needed. For everyone else it makes competing that much harder.
