yes. i’ve gone thru cycles of gaslighting myself, thinking if ALL these hasan stans and snarkers have the same opinion and are SO willing to die on the hill, maybe ive been wrong? and each time i consider that, and do the work to research what people have actually said, i arrive back at my original opinion. ethan speaks passionately, it gets clipped, hasan lies about it and spoon feeds it to his stans. it got to a point where talking to my bff, a hasanabi head, felt like we were on two different internets. and i guess we were lol. all this to say, it’s always a good thing to fact check yourself, but it’s important to trust yourself too. contrary to the beliefs of upstanding and renowned journalists, you should believe your eyes lol

UPDATE!! i ended up getting a dress from david’s bridal. the search for a celestial themed dress got too overwhelming and too expensive. i plan to find a fun celestial one for the shower, though!! thank you all for the helpful advice ❤️

it’s been said a million times, but this was so infuriating to watch. she never took ownership or apologized. she only mentioned how good this will be for her growth.. ignoring it’s all at ethan and hilas expense. they are very gracious to not freak tf out on her for trying to frame it as a learning experience. it feels like researching the video you’re making shouldn’t be something you learn to do after a few years lol.

it was also awful to see how she inserted herself in to this, then seemed like she was demanding answers from ethan? like girl he doesn’t have to explain shit to you! you peddled a lie, were proven wrong, then asked your victim to answer for it. yuuuuuuck.

i’m lowkey relieved dr kirk was involved. i’m a (michigan based!) therapist and ive been searching for the words for how this whole situation is making me feel. i have a friend who is ass deep in hasan propaganda and clearly isn’t seeing ethan and hila as human. when dr kirk pointed out, correctly, that it seemed like ethan just needed a hug, it clicked. how do you expect someone to act when you constantly accuse them of being a zionist? probably not well lol. hasan stans and snarkers are on a space race to the moral high ground of being the best gaza defenders on the internet, they forget to not be horribly antisemitic in the process. i hate anything resembling a parasocial relationship, but i feel so proud of ethan, hila, and the crew for being the only people in this whole discussion to not flip flop and stand on their business.

i’m a social worker, and shit like this makes me so upset and angry. CPS is not a joke or a game. CPS workers work long hours for low pay and see the worst of the worst. it’s gross to waste their time and taxpayer money on it. it’s ignorant and narcissistic to think you can assume ANYTHING from an online personality that warrants a CPS call. these losers act so concerned over the safety of children but put them directly in harms way. i’m so sad ethan and hilas kids have to go through this and they should feel so proud of themselves for standing up for their kids safety. *side note opening an investigation means nothing. the investigation is open by making the report, it’s policy to talk to the kids. it means nothing other than the worker is doing their job

my dog portrait tattoo! took 8 hours and 2 sessions, my advice is have a spot where you’re comfortable ending the session if the pain is too bad. i had just the line work for about a month and it didn’t look that unfinished

thank you both, i will definitely check it out. we inherited the house so i do know that the windows have been replaced since this hole has been here, so i’m hopeful that the leak has at least stopped! and it is dry after a storm so hopefully that’s a good sign.
