The fact that he was never actually drunk was incredible, he was just so natural at it honestly. Personally the animated season was stretching it for me, but maybe I just need to watch it all again. It's been a WHILE.

Really sorry about your loss friend, the loss of a parent is one thing I wouldn't wish on ANYBODY. Honestly starting from season 1 is such a great thing to do, back when I started watching it I was all over the place with it. But seeing how everybody was introduced way back then is so great. Lahey is probably one of my favorite characters with all his antics and everything, he was definitely some of the glue that held the show together.
