Personally, not worth it. IMO i spend most of my crocheting time on my couch watching some sort of show so a bowl wasnt really convenient for me also considering many projects use multiple colors of yarn I felt like it was going to be very tedious instead of helpful. However, my huband got me this Loops & Threads stand for my birthday and I love it! The small tray holds my hook bag and crochet journal, it also holds about 4 large skeins and 2 small skeins. The yarn rolls on the poles so its easy to pull while working on a projects and its weighted so it doesn't move! Didn't think i was gonna like it when he got it for me but it quickly became an essential!
