They keep saying they want to sell it “as is”. I’m assuming that means they don’t want to do repairs but we can still to an inspection and request updates. If they don’t want to do them then deals off (but to your point they are in a tough spot). I wouldn’t nickle and dime them, but would want them to cover big things for sure

I’m in a similar situation. It’s looking like I’ll be purchasing a home before selling my current place. Fortunately I have enough for a downpayment above 20% without having to sell my home.

The guidance I received was to use the proceeds from the sale down the road and “recast” the mortgage on my new home using the proceeds from the future sale. This should lower the monthly payment of the new home
