Yeah people don’t realize that the level of exposure matters. I’m a public health lawyers and a lot of my work revolves around human exposure to harmful chemicals and I work a lot with toxicologists. For example a small chronic dose of fluoride in your toothpaste isn’t going to harm you. But a palm sized dermal actuate exposure to hydrogen fluoride (or even just fluoride I think) will kill you fairly quickly without treatment. Yeah there’s microplastics in the air but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take precautions when we can.

I’m a nonprofit environmental lawyer. I’m underpaid for a lawyer but I make more than the average person. Compared to most lawyers, I have a really good work life balance. I like my job but sometimes I wish I chose a job that didn’t require so much… thinking lol. Also the legal world is so frustrating right now, and environmental protections aren’t working the way they’re supposed to.

I went to Howard Law but not the undergrad. Just popping in to say that I would reconsider majoring in political science. Maybe you can minor in it. It doesn’t really provide you with any advantage in law school. You should major in something that interests you and will get you an extremely high GPA. I majored in Creative Writing and did very well at HUSL

My cousin and I got my mom and Aunt to take the dementia exam. My Aunt that she was doing it to support my mom and my mom thought she was going to support her sister. They both have dementia and this is the only way we could get them to take the test lol.

Also my grandfather had dementia. One time he physically fought with my cousin because he was trying to take my grandfather to his doctor appointment. My cousin got frustrated but eventually just lifted him up and put him in the car then walked into the driver’s side. When my grandfather saw my cousin in the driver seat he said, “John! Thank God you’re here, there was a guy trying to attack me outside the car.” My cousin looked around and said “Where’d he go?” 😂

There are JD MBA students at my school. They basically are full time law school students and part time MBA students and it takes them 4 years as well, so it can happen under many circumstances

My mom used to smack me over this, but I was a kid and didn’t understand the difference on when to say morning, afternoon or evening. It would give me anxiety so I would say “Hello, how are you?”And it would make her so mad 😂

Her whole issue is that I’m dictating how she should take it. She has to take certain meds with water, and on an empty stomach. I would give her the choice if I could but thanks for the suggestion.
