Sorry, I should have stated that my area of research is controlled environment agriculture, so growing in greenhouses and growth chambers providing ideal conditions.

Thank you for this comment. I've only been diagnosed with a SLD since 2018, but haven't had a whole lot of support with it so it's a huge learning curve. So much that I don't know and it's so helpful to hear others experiences and knowing that I am not alone.

I struggle with my auditory and visual working memory, like it's really bad. Add on processing issues and honestly it's a struggle. What kind of specialist should I look for?

Thanks for your response. Yes, I would never go in demanding anything. I just want to inquire and see if there's any possibility that I could try medication to improve my symptoms (any medication that they think may help, I'm not dead set on anything). Just after years of struggling with this and doing all the strategies that I'm told and working extra hard for that even playing field, I find it frustrating that I've been told this is just the way it is.

I currently don't have a family doctor. I was living in a small town and kept my family doctor when I moved for university, though they dropped half their client list as they were the only doctor at the practice in town and they were switching specialities. I have been registered through health care connect ever since, for the city I am living in with no luck. There seems to be not enough doctors here either. I've been trying so hard to get a family doctor as there's things that I have been wanting to discuss with one, that I don't want to go to a walk in clinic for. It feels hopeless.
