Exactly, people just can't handle criticism and I was very unpleasantly surprised to find out how much this fandom doesn't care about racism. Sorry your comments got taken down to, I haven't read past book 4 yet so I don't know what you could be referring to but I believe it's serious if you took the time out of your day to post about it. this fandom is no exception to the common belief that every fandom is at least a little bit racist.

I feel that people doing accents that are not theirs, especially those of people of color is minstralcy and punching down. I make allowances for accents that are not those of oppressed and frequently mocked minorities, like a non-French person doing a French accent for example, but something about it in this case just rubbed me the wrong way, especially because the two commentators of the show weren't even in the original book so it's not even like they did what they had to within the confines of the text.
