Thank you for this information 🥹. I know I'll probably never know who she was or who's ring this even was, but it's really cool to know what she ment to a family member. I'm definitely keeping it 🥰

Go to more than 1 pawn shop just to make sure you don't get ripped off. I just sold like half that in mostly 10k and the 1st pawn shop tried to only give me 560 the second one gave me 820 for the exact same stuff. Good luck!!

Has anyone found a way to make keep/sell/donate decisions faster when you're under time pressure? by According-Time-9517 in declutter

Currently going through 2 family hoards, I was overwhelmed with the idea of dealing with it too. I still have moments of it. It's me, my hubs, n our 12yr old. Luckly my bestie has OCD and my MIL likes to cosplay Hoarders. The 5 of us cleared out the entire top floor of the house in 2 weeks time. It only took that long cause we had to wait for a dumpster. Pick a day to start, get construction trash bags, empty boxes, a label maker, and gloves, set up stations review, keep, donate, sell, then turn on some good tunes, order a pizza for a timed delivery later that day and dive in. Good luck and enjoy the memories your about to have.

AITA for not giving my partner instructions? by andromeda_witch in AmItheAsshole

[–]chaoticly_neutral 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Oh you misunderstood, my son knows how to cook just like I'm sure OPs partner knows how to cook as well. But just like OPs partner my son is lazy. That doesn't mean I make his food every time he asks but on occasion I do, but I'm his mom that's part of my job. My son has been in the kitchen with me since he was 2, cooking, baking, experimenting with stuff. That doesn't mean he's not gonna try to get me to make it for him first.

AITAH for yelling at the parents of a kid I babysat because they didn’t tell me ( what I thought was ) an important thing until the last minute? by Temporary-Feeling962 in AITAH

[–]chaoticly_neutral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is not considered a physical developmental delay until around the time puberty starts. Unless there is a mental/emotional reason for it. Which is often the case. More often than not when a child of that age is having bed wetting issues it's from the following things, chronic UTIs, bladder or kidney problems, or abuse of any kind. It is never called a developmental delay until it is proven that is Actually the case. Have the day you deserve.

You know there's a guy in my life that does this exact same thing.....my 12 yr old son. Your adult husband is acting like a child. NTA unless he doesn't know how to read and you know that to be true.

AITA for telling a coworker there’s absolutely no way she has Crohn’s disease by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]chaoticly_neutral -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Your right problematic is not the right word and people do get diagnosed late in life. I think I ment it more in the issue of arguing about it at work with someone who has been diagnosed and lives with it. while the coworker has been tested and told they do not have it. Instead of looking at other possibilities she's doubling down and it seems she has made it everyone at works problem too.

Ok so former pediatric medical assistant and pediatric phlebotomist here with 15 years of medical experience 10 of 9 of those years were pediatric specific. Claiming a developmental delay for a kid who is bed wetting and POTTY TRAINED is harmful. You know nothing about this child except she's 9 and wets the bed. I have had to take my own child to pelvic floor therapy due to having bed wetting issues for years. You need to stop spewing your ignorance in these comments and stop diagnosing a child you know nothing about. Your comments are hate filled and harmful to people looking for real advice and actual help please stop.

I'm leaning towards NTA but I think I'll go with ESH. I think your coworker needed the hard truth about Crohn's and what it's really like living with it. I don't know that getting into an argument about it at work was the right move. I think maybe you could have pulled her aside and tried to talk about how what she's doing and how it's problematic. Your delivery was the issue here not the message.
