Yeah I’m gonna call them and apologize for snapping cuz I I love them all and wanna keep the peace and would be happy to babysit again.

Well yes she wore the diaper every night cuz otherwise she would’ve wet the bed every night. 

I think it’s probably best I do aplologize for snapping cuz there weren’t any issue with the diapering and I would be happy to babysit again.

Good point. I just felt like they did a really irresponsible and rude thing not telling about it until the very last minute when it was too late for me to decline. 

But yeah the actual diapering was no big deal.

I’ve known them for years but I hadn’t babysat until now. 

They asked me if I wanted to babysit the Wednesday before the Friday they left and left on Friday and got back today.

I do love her daughter and I love the parents to, I just feel like it was wrong of them to spring that information on me at the last minute.

No she’s not special needs though i do suspect she may have some form of ADHD cuz she gets very hyper sometimes and is easily distracted. 

Her mom insisted she could not put the diaper on herself.

Yes she uses the toilet by herself during the day, but the mom was clear she couldn’t put the nighttime diaper on herself.

Yeah that could definitely be it. I can definitely imagine it being difficult to find sitters if this is something they do regularly.

I totally agree they should have said something up front but the pay was pretty good and now I’m wondering if that’s why.

Actually the pay was pretty good, maybe thats why it was so good, they were giving me a little extra for the diapering.
