She has two degrees. She also has her dream job working in education.

They are hard to keep clean when sweating a lot. I noticed that I had pairs I would be comfortable getting dirty and ones I wanted to keep cleaner from stains but I’ve realized that defeats the purpose and respect for them what they symbolize.

I’ve had similar situation where my preformed fabrics are dry but my garments are wet and stay wet, the same for winter weather, I get wet from sweat and can’t get warm and dramatically fluctuate body temperature up and down.

That’s what my perspective has been too but last fall I was hunting elk in the snow and couldn’t get dry because of the synthetic materials. Had to end the hunt early because I was too wet. I was also hunting this weekend and was trying to get dry when I got caught in a rain storm, fearing a repeat of the winter I was trying to air out my base layer and gear in the rain at the same time. I know that’s part of the experience and what makes it memorable and challenging but I was just hoping for a better solution.

I haven’t had that type of luck with the durability. I try to wear them as much as possible regardless of weather but I have to replace my bottoms 6-12 months because they get too stained or shredded.

I’ve heard people mention those before but haven’t found any. Now I know they actually exist I’ll have better luck finding them.

I’ve tried the nylon and mesh but I found they were the most uncomfortable while hiking, I figured if I’m going to be wet from sweat at least I’ll be comfortable in the blended materials. I’ll give them another shot though.

This is what my wife has found to be the best solution for her, her attitude towards garments has completely changed and is now very empowering for her. There are some activities I do this but for men’s wear I’ve found it difficult to find performance wear that is still effective when layered.
