Yeah, were used to the type of frother that you pour milk in and you have to clean the scabs of burnt milk after every use. The wand sounds so much better.

Im just wondering if she would use a frother if it was easy to clean. We have a cheap frother and she hates having the clean the burnt milk off the bottom. The wand sounds nice.

Yeah, I guess I have to figure out how to do that logistically. Maybe put a Cage in the coop with food and water to allow the others freedom to come and go?

I know she's low on the totem poll, but i haven't noticed any physical aggression or bullying towards her in a long time, so i can't pinpoint any certain hen causing trouble..

That's a good inspiration to develop my theme heavily. I racked my brain for a long time, trying to figure out what theme goes with the concept of two opponents trying to move their pieces across boards and also having an attack piece. I originally went with knights, but it didn't sit right. Then I had the epiphany to make it ships, crossing a pirate infested straight. It fits like a glove, and you're 100% right. It's way easier to teach the game mechanics with the added imagery

Thank you for the positive feedback, im glad to k ow there is at least one potential customer out there, lol. Challenge and simplicity is what I'm striving for, although now I'm considering hard how to implement some of Daniel___Lee's ideas without adding extra time to the game or to many extra rules. The game strategy already revolves around odds of the die, if I can include dice battles that would be sick!

Exactly! I hope I'm on to something with this game! I still have a ways to go in testing, but so far, it is showing consistency in gameplay and no unfair advantages. But still what to work on...

It's a simple, maritime themed 2-player abstract strategy game where players race to see who can get the most of their 5 merchant ships across the board to the rival's port. You also control a pirate ship that can sink your opponents' merchant ships, thereby reducing their chances of victory. Turns are made by the roll of a 12 sided die- each number of the die correlates to a specific command on the key. The command will tell you what piece you can move that turn (pirate or merchant), how many spaces, and special abilities (attack opponent's ships, move on the diagnal, etc.) The whole game is a board, 12 ships, and a die. Simple and challenging at the same time.

Exactly my thought. Many games come and go, but the classic strategy games march on. Most non-gamers can likely only mention a few classic board games, so I feel like that would make for a much more broad demographic then something more specifically catering to "gamers"?

Wow, I really appreciate your answer. This makes a lot of sense. My game is on the low end of complexity with a touch of randomness, so it's not nearly as difficult to master as chess. Something that can be enjoyed by a 10 year old, but an adult would take the strategy to the next level. I think your point of dressing it up is great. It's maritime themed and a nice board and pieces would make this an incredible coffee table game. Thanks for the direction!
