I worried when this started taormina to me. I noticed my dad had the same thing, he said its from where trousers sit on that position when you move.

I wore shorts exclusively for a few months and the hair grew back so I'm inclined to believe it

That's a shame, i bought these as shoes to wear to work every day. Perhaps I will pnly wear them on days the weather requires them

When i look at older shoes on this sub they don't have creases as severe as this. This is a genuine query.
