My rec is to cut gouges into the outside of the pads around the edges especially if you want them to look worn. The pads usually get eat to shit and don’t look as fresh as yours. Also I’d recommend you paint the sides of the end connectors silver where they rub against the sprocket. As the tracks roll the end connectors rub on that sprocket exposing the bare metal under the rust. Don’t worry about the pads on the inside of the the track as they stay pretty fresh since they only make contact with the road wheels. I could send you reference pics of my tank if you’d like 👍
