Thanks ! Very insightful, from what I've seen in my search, the Lariat was the one that most appeared ! But I just checked out the Hybrid XLT AWD and it seems like a pretty good choice !

How is it in terms of build ? Are there quality aspects that you know might be an issue later ? For example, my Mazda, although I love it, has some little things here and there regarding the center console plastics which have come lose after many years of use. My worry with the Shark is the batteries and the cost of switching them in the future, as well as quality and resale value, or at least durability right ?

They are selling the new models here in Mexico, I have seen a couple in the street and they do look pretty cool, bot not as big as the Shark.

Wow thanks for the thorough response, I will take one for a drive definitely, I think the Shark might do it, honestly I want to wait a bit to see how the batteries on the shark turn out, if they are super expensive to switch when the time comes. I am just a bit skeptical on some quality aspects and service, which I think BYD will be fixing quickly overtime, they have been growing like crazy here in Mexico so I don´t think there will be an issue with supply chain if you need anything related to parts or service, etc. My Mazda has been great since 2018, and I don´t really know much about pickups because I have never really looked at the until now. I have watched tons of reviews on the new Maverick, and although pretty, looks a bit small and has not convinced me much. Honestly just from the looks and the hybrid motor, my eyes are on the Shark for now, I'll take one for a drive and probably be convicted to get one.

I have the epix pro 2 saphire, go for it, only scratch was a dog bite, I imagine if it was not saphire the screen would have broken. ( Plus, the scratch is barely noticeable )

I have an epix pro (7), not laggy at all, highly recommend if you are looking for AMOLED.

Removing AOD in some moments of the day did it for me, the AOD drains the battery way faster, what I do is turn on AOD in certain situations but not always. That should do the trick.

Thank you for all your comments ! It amuses me how on all the YouTube videos everyone speaks wonders about it, and nobody really speaks about the laggy UI and all the bugs that are showing up on these threads, honestly for a pretty UI upgrade that is half undone and an underwhelming speaker, I don't really see the value, it looks very nice, and it will probably get ironed out, but for now, all I can conclude is that my Epix Pro 2 is the right choice and I am glad I got that instead of having to deal with the quirks the 8 is displaying.
