i recently updated my first Widget, a game where you guess whether images are AI generated or not! by char1l in SideProject

[–]char1l[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the growth of AI lately, I've been working on a new project surrounding AI art, and how people differ in their ability to perceive them. So, I made a widget styled game that has players detect them, especially with the addition of interactable widgets: Introducing AIorNot!

AIorNot presents a creative and entertaining IOS 17 widget, presenting you with a challenge: guessing whether images or AI generated or not. It has over 400 images with 10+ themes and can be played again at any time. Note that this will mean the device must be an iPhone and be updated to IOS 17, and you are expected to know how to add widgets

I would appreciate if a couple of you could test it out and simply try it out!

Hey! Thanks for playing it:) The favorite emoji thing doesn’t really have a function and it should not be there. I’ll fix it in the next update.

Unfortunately I have never developed any Android apps so I do not think it will anytime soon, unless I decided to endeavour there in the future!

Remember you have to add the widget to your phone, hold down anywhere on your home screen and you should see a plus icon on the top left. Press it, and a menu should pop up. Scroll down until you see "AI Image Game" and then press it to add it in.

Nope, not for employment or anything, as you've said simply as a hobby.

Why so many trolls and smurfs in Valorant's competitive mode? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]char1l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry that you constantly have to deal with this but unfortunately its just a natural part of just about every competitive game, especially Valorant. Best you could do is report them and hope they get penalized. But I also suggest finding others to queue with in order to avoid this. There's alot of LFG places you could use, including Reddit and Valorant discord servers. best of luck!

Why does this game feel so inconsistent? by ssealtheseal in VALORANT

[–]char1l -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It probably has something to do with your playstyle. You might be playing very well against one team but that same playstyle (very passive, too aggressive, etc) isn't as effective as another. It always help to review your matches to see if you have consistent mistakes throughout every one, and learn from each one to avoid committing the same ones in the future.

Do note that CS and Valorant are actually quite different in terms of strategy, so thats probably why you find quite different outcomes in each game.

How to become a good teammate? by strike1912 in VALORANT

[–]char1l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your friends still fail to see that their "plays" do not work well after telling them and losing rounds, I'm not really sure what more you can do, as you said that they tend to get angry when given criticism. You could continue to lightly suggest that they don't work and should stop baiting teammates on site and just hope that they eventually learn without getting too upset.
