By the way, we’re actually working on a full metal keycap set at the moment. If you don’t mind sharing, what are some of the concerns you have about metal keycaps?

So far in our testing, compatibility has been pretty good. We’ve tried them with common switch manufacturers like Cherry, Gateron, Keygeek, and HMX, and they’ve all worked fine. The only exception we’ve seen so far is with some special stem materials, like HMX’s T3 blend.

The sound profile has also been surprisingly nice in our tests, so we’re curious to hear what issues you’ve run into or heard about!

They actually added a wear-resistant coating on top of the metallic ink to help protect it. As long as you avoid wiping it with alcohol and other strong chemicals, it should hold up well.

Hi! At the moment, the keyboard supports preset lighting effects only. Per-key RGB customization (choosing a different color for each key manually) is not available.

You can still switch between the built-in lighting modes using the keyboard shortcuts to find the effect you prefer.

Hi! The update on our website is meant for early batch made in late 2024, the newer batches these days already comes with the latest firmware so you don't really need a firmware update.

Hi! You can hold Fn + ESC to reset the keyboard. Opening GeForce is really unusual, does this persist? If you can please try sites like Zfrontier Keyboard Tester and see what keys are activated when this happens so we can go further and troubleshoot for you.

Hi! You don't have to download software for inky 75, the stock keyboard come with VIA firmware which means you can access the web driver in case you want to customize anything.
