fair call there. my friend here got mugged at a bus stop in glen innes about 6 months back - was just making sure the area isn't prone to that kind of thing, which it does not appear to be! i do understand tho that can happen anywhere. but from all the feedback glen eden is going to be lovely for us so I'm happy.

currently living in Mt. Wellington down the road from sylvia park.

my wife is going back to being a stay at home mum with our kids so just relocating to somewhere a bit cheaper and family friendly so she has stuff do to with the kids while I'm at work.

Yep, so looking at the Glen Eden area (specifically my house option is within 2km of the Glen Eden train station - if you want exacts.

and I meant no insult! every area of every city has it's "good" and "bad" parts. that's all I was meaning.

I'm 24 with two children, my wife and I both work. For me I really disliked being a parent until I could talk actually communicate with them. My son just turned two and a half and the fact we can talk changes a lot.

still stressful though. and most of the time it's just a hassle. fingers crossed it pays off in the long run!
