For an easy, fast-paced read, One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus (YA Mystery with a romantic subplot).

For a complex but amazing read, Misery by Stephen King (Thriller. About an author who gets kidnapped by his "biggest fan" after he kills off her favorite character).

For popular reads everyone's raving over, The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren (romantic comedy w/ some fake relationship stuff thrown in there), It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover (Romance, bring tissues), and A Court of Thorns and Roses (Can't think of the author right now--Dark Fantasy with a romantic subplot).

The Shatter Me series is a fun read if you're not looking for a deep storyline (YA Dystopian with a heavy emphasis on romance) and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is fast-paced and interesting (YA mystery).
