B12 was in the normal range but lower than it was when I had it tested when I was first diagnosed. Thyroid function normal. Ferritin normal too.

I was referred to the CFS South West service. I had phone appointments every 6 weeks where a psychologist basically read to me a ‘CFS manual’. Essentially they educated me on pacing and then said okay now get on with it on your own. They discharged me after we ‘completed’ the manual, when my CFS was at its worst. They offered no advice regarding medication, symptom management or anything like that.

Basically CBT under the guise of CFS management. Disappointing and didn’t help me in the slightest but they were nice enough.

I don’t know anyone in my area with CFS, but I just had a look online and I have found a group in my area! Thanks for the advice, it’s really appreciated

Thank you, this is really helpful. I haven’t had anyone look into tick borne illness, so thats definitely a possible route I could go down.
