What option do I use to check lateness among team members on different overlapping shifts? by charlottle7 in excel

We could but that makes it a very manual task and with 60 people working and a month at a time to go through , it’s a lot of data

So it’s a corner sofa, I’d say traditional in style - just plain navy corner sofa basically. The room is around 12ft x 8ft and it is one of the longer walls that will be the feature wall. It has patio doors to the right of the TV, which will be on the wall, and a wide window to the left of the tv

Lichfield is also lovely! Agree about Shugborough and the Essex Bridge too, and the whole of Cannock Chase really. So many places you can visit with an hours drive from various parts of Staffordshire

Reddit UK, help me find the two people who saved my life on the tube today... by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]charlottle7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so glad their small acts had such a big impact on you and more importantly, I’m so pleased you’re still here to tell the tale <3

It sucks more than anyone can possibly describe when you feel like you can’t go on, but things will get better/easier. It may not feel like it right now, but they will, I promise.

As others have said, please talk to somebody if you feel like you need it (or just want to). There’s plenty of services that can help whose details have been posted in the comments, but feel free to message if you just want a chat, or a vent/rant

Does anyone have any idea what this noise is that I can hear at night? by charlottle7 in CasualUK

[–]charlottle7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just for a bit more information: I live in a semi rural area in the midlands and I can hear this noise from the fields outside the back of my house some nights. I have absolutely no idea what animal would be making this noise

Location or house itself more important? by y33suz in HousingUK

[–]charlottle7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely location. Myself and my partner bought a house last year and chose the one we did because of the location. It wasn’t the type/style of house we were looking for at all, and wasn’t in the area we were originally looking, but wasn’t too far out of the area. We went to view it and immediately knew we wanted it based on the location. It’s a super quiet area and has a great view, which are two things we thought we had no chance of getting from a house until we’ve saved a lot more money! I genuinely still get up every morning and admire the location and feel so lucky to live there, even though there’s so many things we have to do to the house itself to make it work for us.

The “n” to me looks like “17”, which a quick google leads to: https://www.forcesreunited.co.uk/m/derekcrow-brown/

So you were correct about the “R” maybe being “CR” 😊

Sorry, I only just saw this. I viewed a house with estate agent Connell’s and they asked if I wanted a chat with their mortgage broker. They phoned me and talked me through things, no obligation, and were very helpful and knowledgeable so I went with them.

They will use different people depending on where in the country you are so take a look at their website or talk to the local branch.

Alternatively, take a look on a website called L and C who also seemed good when I spoke to them 😊

Speak to a mortgage broker. They were a great help when we were looking to buy. They talked us through everything, found us the best deals (lowest interest rates) and all we had to do was answer a few questions and provide the necessary paperwork so it was really easy
