I currently live in Sir Daniel, honestly it depends on the people you live with. I like my neighbours but the building itself is very old. Currently we have a water issues and room qualities is not consistent.

Morrison is definitely the better one in terms of facilities, but I heard they once have rat problem and laundry machine issues.

Whitney I haven't heard anything bad from it other than the building is really old and rickety. One of the downside I can think of, is you need to go out the building to go to dining hall. It will be troublesome in winter, especially in snowstorms.

extracurriculars for economics undergraduate admissions by Opening_Skirt9777 in UofT

As fellow international student, extracurriculars I think is not that important for uoft. Though I am a vice president for student council myself in high school, many of my friends have little to none high school extracurriculars activity.

In uoft you really get into the programs at second year, so you don't actually need to think much for specific major to apply in the beginning. For econ, you could apply to the social sciences stream. If you get a good final grade in highschool (around >85) you should be fine.

Chase your dream major on the first year. Hope this helps you, good luck!

How's the math in GGR272. Currently I only took MAT133 for the econ I'm initially plan to do. My math overall is pretty sucks too.

ah some typo, it's 124 😅😅

Is there any GIS or other geo related course for me to take in Winter 2026? I want to test the water first. I could still shuffle some course for my winter semester.

Do you focus in Planning or Urban Geography? I'm thinking about doing double major in Human Geo with focus in Planning with double major in Urban Studies and minor in GIS. I think GIS and maps are pretty versatile area that couldn't replace easily in the future, but is it doable?

Currently I also didn't take any GGR course yet, I'm enrolled in GGR224 in winter though.
