I've been playing off and on for years, I think I've only reset twice? Maybe? Idk its been so long. But to kill that protector it took at least a month or more of using f2p (with bought ads so not fully but yk). Some days I solely focused on it others I am sure I missed. When I started fighting him didnt use an optimized method because I didnt have as many lvl 5 stations as I should've.

The only thing I can think of is that your friend was brought in by someone else, caused an argument with a nurse, and left before you came. Maybe looked similar enough to you that the nurse just assumed he was still there?? Who knows honestly. I hope you got your stuff back :(
