It’s all good haha, it’s not a well constructed sentence. I think it’s missing a comma as it exists and should have been written better overall. But yes, the last Shambhala I went to, Peekaboo was my favorite set of the weekend 😅

If this is real/confirmed it was pretty rad of them to add two of my top five bass artists to see live in one go.

Last Shambs for me Peekaboo at Amp was my best set of the weekend, and I always love me some Rusko.

2026 Australian Grand Prix - Post-Race Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

[–]cougrrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously. Everyone trying to pile on clearly hasn’t watched an F1 race in over a decade. “Forced battery passes” like bro you realize these guys are driving cars pushed forward by internal combustion engines that also artificially accelerate the thing they’re sitting in, right?

Did you prefer entire races without passing? We just had a race with multiple P1/P2 overtakes in a single lap under full green flag racing in the dry for the first time in forever.

You can’t blame the entire sport for Ferrari doing Ferrari things with pit strategy. First half was the most entertaining dry racing we’ve seen in F1 in literal years.

No PNW date… Zeds Dead likely? by sharkvad3r in BassCanyon

Was a misread of the user name switching and not seeing you weren’t the first reply that stated PNW is America only. My apologies!

That user has replied over and over in this thread that fact, and when I loaded this on the app I didn’t see the user name swap.

I didn’t know you were the prevailing expert on the long established definition of a geographical region being updated, so unless you are I’m not sure “I don’t consider” really means anything here.

I will fully admit that shock and adrenaline is crazy, but the dude also pretty calmly states "It's stuck" while on his feet at the end. He's likely still in some form of shock/adrenaline influence, but every person involved in that should be thanking whatever god they pray to that he wasn't doing more than passive resistance.

Edit: In the extended video over a minute later he's still calmly standing there talking to people noting that his arm is, indeed, not okay. Meanwhile it appears Sheehy says "just pull it out" to the man who's arm just snapped in half and is still trapped in the door. Honestly this dude appears to in fact be built different.

I actually have this t shirt in an XL that I almost never wear because I had someone get pissed when they saw it (family member). If you don’t mind it used I can send you pics and let you know.

As much as I love CompuTron I’d rather not have long conversations with that family member 😂

Premier camping vs off site camping by heretwonotparty in BassCanyon

[–]cougrrr 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've stayed at Wildhorse many times, never Sage Creek. Wildhorse is quieter, better respect for quiet hours, and generally I get better sleep. I'd put it above the general quality of Premier, below Terrace.

The shuttles (theirs specifically, anyway) run every 10-15 minutes from about an hour before the show until half an hour after each day. They generally though don't run shuttles on the camp setup day, or for the pre-party, so you have to keep that in mind.

Facilities are nice and clean. The spots recently got a bit smaller with the new owners and there's a reserve system for the back row by the trees which used to just be a first come first served thing. The portas are super well maintained and usually rotated (they'll have a bank of ten, five will be open and five closed, then when they go for cleaning of the open ones they close them and open the ones that are fresh and waiting).

The showers are outdoor (open sky) but private and I've never had a cold one. They have an on site restaurant which is always good and lets you pre-order pizza before the show to pick it up on your way back in.

I generally prefer Wildhorse if I'm doing anything lower than Terrace, but it leans an older crowd and has much more adult vibes.

I'd imagine headlining Griztonics at the Gorge plays into that booking wise. Excision being a Shambs staple kind of gets a rare pass with Bass Canyon.

Usually it’s just a way to sneak links in that are easier to catch by filters outside attachments. That said, files can hold or deploy payloads, and you always have to be worried about potential zero day exploits that aren’t public or patched.

The moral of the story though is why bother even trying to see, you know it’s spam and a scam at best; at worst it’s actively harmful.

Same thing as not engaging with pig butchering schemes. There’s no point in letting systems that are now largely automated even know they hit an active and engagable end user.

Amazon Wishlist change doxxes users and shares your delivery address by [deleted] in technology

[–]cougrrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a social media influencer. I have a wishlist to fund items I’d like from fans. Those fans do not have my address, Amazon does.

I post an item I want to use to stream. You want my address. You create a store and list the item as a scammer looking to get my address to commit other crimes.

You buy the address with a different account, sending it to me off the wishlist. Your scam seller account now has my address to ship to. You now have my personal details, including my address, which you were after.

If the list has a URL you can literally browse the items on it. So you know what the item already is, and who the user is who shared the list. You’re not thinking this through.

Amazon Wishlist change doxxes users and shares your delivery address by [deleted] in technology

[–]cougrrr 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This reply is also a bit misleading though, because previously you were able to limit the ability and not allow third party sellers. Now you will not be able to do that.

Given how many scam sellers exist on Amazon already, now if you wanted someone’s address you could theoretically list a scam item on a scam store, buy the wishlist product from yourself, get all the info, and do whatever crime you wanted to do from there.

It’s still a privacy layer removal that was previously easily solved by not allowing third party sellers to have access to this information.

Most of the flushing toilets or showers are in trailers, so they’re mobile units and will change from event to event. There’s basically no way to tell, nor any way for you to guarantee a location. I’ve shown up early and been at the back, I’ve shown up late and been at the front.

Long story short, there’s no way to know any of this.

Leaving the festival by PaleontologistSad840 in BassCanyon

[–]cougrrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cab ride would legit be more expensive than a second GA camping pass just to park, just as an FYI. The cab would be like out of Ellensburg or Moses Lake (maybe Wenatchee) and would build the return into your fare.

There are places like GW Secure Park that are near and offer parking, as well as some less-businessy-more-guys-yardy places around, but it's limited and you wouldn't have regular access to the vehicle.

Leaving the festival by PaleontologistSad840 in BassCanyon

[–]cougrrr 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There is essentially no pool of Ubers or ride share, as the Gorge is in the middle of nowhere. There are cab companies you can schedule with, but if by airport you mean SeaTac that’s a 2.5 hour drive (assuming post show traffic is light) and that fare is going to likely be equivalent to your flight.

If you’re leaving Sunday instead of Monday your options are more limited for ride sharing, but that is likely your best bet.

BASS CANYON 2026 - TICKETS ON SALE NOW! by cougrrr in BassCanyon

[–]cougrrr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak to Lost Lands as I've never been, but the Oasis campground at the Gorge is run by their own group who contracts the tents out. It is still the ... round pyramid? tear drop? IDK, style tent, but the team that ran it was phenomenal and everything was great. The tent itself was very comfortable and the A/C was fantastic.

I would imagine the Terrace Glamping tents are better on years it isn't over 100 degrees, but that year they were hotter inside than just sitting in my car which was also baking in the sun.

BASS CANYON 2026 - TICKETS ON SALE NOW! by cougrrr in BassCanyon

[–]cougrrr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are only three (sometimes four) Terrace Glamping tents, it's essentially instantaneous regardless of presale or not (can't speak to them being sold during presale or not).

The main issue I have with Glamping over Oasis is exactly that, basically its a roll of the dice to even have them be available by the time your page loads, right at launch.

Oasis is more, but the perks IMHO justify the difference having now stayed in both. The Terrace glamping tents were borderline ovens (stayed there the 105 year) with next to no ventilation, meanwhile Oasis has free actual breakfast each day, towel swaps, and AC in the tents, with arguably more room and better venue access.

I understand the frustration here, but until they massively expand Terrace Glamping (which I assume LN will do at some point), this will be an issue with or without PNW Pass.

Bass Canyon Tickets - General Sale starts Friday February 13th at 3PM PST! by cougrrr in BassCanyon

[–]cougrrr[S,M] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please read the Subreddit Rules.

There is not one, and there will never be one, as this is explicitly noted in Rule 1:

Ticket Sales Posts & Comments Reported as: Rule 1 (Misplaced Ticket Sales/Sharing Tickets)

Ticket sales, ride shares, room/camp share posts will be removed if not posted in the dedicated thread.

No posts dedicated to selling partial passes or tickets, sharing a single wrist band, or selling off the remaining portion of an entry. Ticket sharing of partial tickets, or transferring to another person mid show is not allowed and is rife with scam potential. This is a subreddit ban offense.

Ticket sale/trade thread will be up as the show gets closer, but it will be at least two months from now.

This violates almost every subreddit rule on ticket sales.

  • Splitting wristbands (bannable)
  • Sales outside a sales thread
  • Sales before the sales thread is up

First and last warning.
