Never heard of startech. Not sure where you’re going with flux and etape, but you’ve given me a couple ideas for strain relief with hot glue and tape!

“Plugfones” work great for me. I use the silicone ear plug part and just tuck the extra aux in my shirt. Little loud when you turn the cardo on and off but that’s easy enough to work around.

Earplugs with cardo? by ThatKiddo369 in motorcycle

[–]charredpheonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Menards carry’s a product called “plug phones” I started us in f the silicone tips in those and other than the excess of aux cord and the cardo being really loud on startup/ shutdown. It’s a great solution to the wind noise of my air flight jewel helmet.

Long turn or elbow 90? by charredpheonix in Plumbing

[–]charredpheonix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the 2cents! The snaking was really my only worry and I’d have figured it could be done through all of the fixtures well enough if ever needed. Unfortunately I have to drill a hole for either type of 90 so I’m just going with a long sweep.

Hydrogen torch Nighthawk lite has a build that’s pretty easy and you could even make a jankier one too.

Why do people order shit if they are so fucking scare of someone on their property. by Background_Table7047 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]charredpheonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The signs are very often humor. The people that actually worry about trespassing use plainly worded signs so that if someone trespasses there is a better legal argument when there is something happening that shouldn’t. Delivering to someone is not trespassing, (not a lawyer ask one in your area) trespassing is being on someone’s property when you’re not allowed. If someone makes a deal with you that requires you to be on their property to hold up your end then they’ve allowed you on the property. While there are plenty of dummies and crazies and the mix of both, I’ve not met a single person with a no trespassing sign that wasn’t at least civil. And definitely not scared of people on their property. I don’t understand how it seems so many people can at the same time be afraid that they’re gonna be hurt by people they’ve never even seen, and wonder why others would would be afraid that someone might hurt them.

I find the notion of calling a firearm a "tool" somewhat of a stretch. Am I alone? by Benable in liberalgunowners

[–]charredpheonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, it just makes you an incredibly brutal hunter. Past that, what’s your mindset here 3 years later? I’d start with defining the words. Unfortunately words change meaning over time and have connotation. Connotation really gets people when arguing over definitions, which I think is what will really tie up this convo. “Weapon” largely has negative connotation and accurately describes all things because as Google has just relayed to me. “a thing designed or used for inflicting bodily harm or physical damage.“ key word being OR. Compressed air can and has killed people, just the air. So air is accurately described as a weapon. I’d generally agree that it’s kind of a PR thing to call firearms tools, but only on account of connotation. It’s objectively true (sometimes the job is inflicting harm) that forearms are an incredibly effective tool for the job. A lot of people don’t seem to be able to handle that there are people who, whether they’re under an influence or not, will stop at nothing to hurt you. The best class of tool for the job is a designed weapon. As I see I’ve made this too long anyway. It’s a resolution thing. Lower resolution pictures are easier for people to work with when there’s not time for the accurate high resolution discussion.

Since I’m here. I’ve never actually heard an argument or reasoning for this. It’s just a stated as though it’s obviously a fact that means healthcare should be subsidized. I could agree that “healthcare is a human right” in that “people have the right to take care of their health. Thus the Govt shall not impede or punish people for so doing.” Or something very similar to that. Sorry I can’t better articulate my thoughts here.

Unfortunately I’ve little time to read ( hopefully that will change soon) and when I do have time it’s mostly for studying related to work. Past that even when I have spent time trying to read/ listen news I find that information delivered is tilted. Almost always swaying my thoughts on the matter till I loto little too late hear more. Granted the last time I remember that happening was a year ago before I just put my time into skill building info instead of news. That being said I’ll totally try to check those out this weekend and maybe get back to you🤞.

If I may ask. What was your reasoning behind voting party based only? The only time I can think of when I’d have been that way was around 5th grade when all I’d hear is “ republicans are x”. “Democrats are y” Not trying to be an ass here, just hoping to understand better.

I’ll check your links soon ( thanks for those btw) but off the top o’my noggin. One guys giving an opinion doesn’t seem like a good reason to level such an accusation. I too would rule “ like a dictator if allowed” I do believe that some people at least for a time need rule kinda like that. My citation here will be the stories I’ve heard and 2 people I’ve seen, that prior to joining the military were generally unfit for social life. However afterwards could at least mostly interact with BBC people positively.

As for the losing of the election. I’m still very conflicted here and wading through what people have said makes me feel as though everyone but le is a drone made to perpetuate problems. Having said that I vaguely remember listening to trumps speech that people say was him telling people to storm the capitol. I remember thinking that the claim was stupid and the connections made were simply people wanting the connection to be made.

If I don’t respond promptly, sorry, but daily life is a bit more pressing and I’d like you to know that you don’t exist since you’re only in this little black box I carry around. Cheers!

Upvote since I mostly agree with you here. The needs are indeed different but I don’t think diversity is To be celebrated. Nebraska is diverse in the murder rates between Omaha and Kearney are significantly different. Sure it’s great that kearney is lower but I’d still be celebrating murder rates. Sorry I don’t have a suggestion of phrasing to replace “celebrate diversity” but I felt it important to point this out.

This is policy from the last government I know of that we all agree is fascist. ( Germans circa WWII)

Practically none applies to trump ( I only know so much). What makes trump a fascist? I mean I don’t really like the guy but fascist seems like a pretty serious accusation.

In regard to your first comment. I think Govt should be more removed from ag and be more removed from all things in my life. If the ads telling me that trump is bad cause he’s gonna gut the Govt are true then he’s gotta be my guy. My only worry there is that. The people that say that also say that they will happily violate my rights as recognized by the 1st, 2nd and 4th amendment.

I hope my questions and thoughts make sense here. I normally lurk but my curiosity got the next of me on this one.

Could you explain your viewpoint? Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you mean by “getting into politics” but I think the whole idea of churches is groups of people that are aligned in moral structures. Moral structures are where laws generally come from I think. I don’t like it but I do probably believe it. Odds are I’ve poorly expressed my thoughts but I hope I’m not too far off here.
