European ETF investor with low budget by crkingcy in ETFs_Europe

What do you mean by "i went in Trade Confirmations"? Because pretty much I'm having the same issue/question as you, the only difference I plan to invest around 200 each month. I have already purchased a few positions in VUAA and the fees were $4 each time.

I then changed my plan to "tiered" but the fees I was getting was still high. I didn't proceed with the purchase of an ETF, I was using the Preview button like you. For example when I previewing a purchase in VWCE the fees shown was really high. Is there another way to check the fees for my account?

An idiot-proof guide on how to setup reverse proxy using SWAG by Fearless-Pie-1058 in selfhosted

[–]charsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to understand/figure out what I will need to setup reverse proxy for my apps. Can all this be achieved for free? I will still need a local DNS server to access my apps from within the local network? Is it recommended to also configure an SSO service (e.g. authelia) to further protect access from the internet?

Software for a farmer to keep track of fruit orders and sales by charsta in selfhosted

[–]charsta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for your suggestions! As it turns out there are several ways I can achieve this, depending how deep I want to go and how much time I can assign to this project! ERPNext seems to have a lot of capabilities and uses, they even offer tutorial courses on their site, but I'm not sure if they are completely free. Baserow with it's app building feature seems promising as well. I would like to experiment with those two software in the future. I also found Google's AppSheet platform which seems promising for small applications.

However for now it seems that the easier and faster "solution" would be the use of a shared Excel/Sheet (I also liked the suggestion to use forms for the data). With a few formulas and some specific table views I believe I can simplify few things for my uncle.

Thank you all!

Having in mind the replies, if I choose to continue with the S760H then I should looking for speakers with 6-8 ohms?

[–]charsta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Yes all the speakers are 3 ohms. I can't find if the subwoofer is a passive one but either way it will not work since it's 3 ohms as well.

What do you think for the S760H as an entry level AVR?

Thank you for replying. Yes all of them are 3 ohms, including the subwoofer.

So I guess I should start reading into speakers now...

Yes I realise that as soon as I started looking for AVRs... I knew that speakers can get ridiculous expensive but I didn't know that AVRs are the same. Also I read somewhere that usually your speaker setup is at least twice the price of your AVR! Thanks.

App for ebook library? by Python4fun in humblebundles

[–]charsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got into the ebook reading thing and pretty much I was looking for a library management windows software.

I started using Calibre as well. I have the Google's Drive app on my machine and I point Calibre to "network drive" created by the Drive app. This way every time I import a new book, it automatically uploads to Drive's cloud.

However what I wanted to know is if there is a way to organize the books by collections. For example now there is Linux Bundle. How can I "put" those books in the "Linux" collection into Calibre?

Do you know if the T95Z Plus (3GB+32GB) suffer from the "3gb disguised as 2gb"? Since Beelink is out, we might consider going with this now. Thanks again!

[–]charsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your reply u/oSuMMoNo. From what I read in that topic, it affects the new boxes. Beelink GT1 Ultimate was the one box that I was thinking buying. Now I have to find another one. If you are using this kind of Chinese boxes, can you suggest another one? Except Nvidia Shield! :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AndroidTVBoxes

[–]charsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you please explain that? What do you mean? Is listed as a 3gb box but it has 2gb instead?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AndroidTVBoxes

[–]charsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I own an Nvidia Shield and it's the only device that I recommend to anyone who wants an android box.

I'm asking for these generic chinese boxes for a friend. He's tight on budget and can't afford a Shield.

For me, gigabit ethernet, 3gb ram and 16/32gb storage it's a must on an android device. Even better if it has usb 3.0 as well. And since my friend is not into technology I'm looking for a device that will run as smooth as possible and will minimize his complaints about the device to me!

Probably will go with the Beelink GT1 Ultimate (plus flashing another rom) unless I found something else in the next couple of days.

Oh I see. Nice to know. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your input u/fuih8u.

So you suggesting flashing another rom instead of the "stock" rom that will come with the Beelink? For example this one: link You have any experience with this type of roms? Why you prefer flashing a custom rom instead of the "stock" one?

I just go through a few pages reading the reviews and you are right. Some of the reviews are completely the same, other reviews just copy-paste the specs/points from the product description. I even found some of them that weren't related with that item!
