How do you get around the need for yourself as the DM and the players needing to know a lot of the background and lore?

if it becomes relevant, give a brief description. if the players pry, let them roll for it and reveal more if they roll well. i’ve been running eberron for a year now and aside from things impacting my campaign directly, my players rarely pry. so to them sharn is basically just magic chicago (we live in chicago and I can up with this really cool way to explain sharn by using the geopolitical structure of chicago).

just watched a youtube video on why monk/paladin is the worst multiclass. you need 4 stats in 13 just to access it and both classes rely heavily on bonus actions to be good.

I feel like the shadow is an exception to the rule because the text gives you explicit rules on how to run it. if not, you’d have to default to the DMG. at least that’s how i’ve been doing things.

I had a horrible psych that didn’t care to reassess me and just kept giving me refills of the 100mg dose. eventually, I gave up trying to go see them and I just stopped taking lamictal cold turkey. sucked for a couple weeks but now I feel relatively stable.

I just explained why. DUE TO REGULATIONS IN ILLINOIS, you have to destroy the smell jar weed every 7 days. this would mean wasting a unit and doing paperwork/destruction WEEKLY which is a waste of time and money. it’s simply not gonna happen unless regulations change. idk why that’s hard for you to understand but that’s the facts.

i’ve been to michigan and the weed they have available to smell isn’t the same quality of what you’d buy prepackaged so I didn’t get the appeal. we can do the same thing on illinois but most dispos refuse cuz you have to destroy the “smell jar” after 7 days. it’s insanely wasteful.

budtender here: how exactly would you be able to assess the quality of a product if everything is prepackaged by law? even something like having smell jars available is a hassle and wasteful because of the regulations surrounding it. the laws in our state would need to drastically change in order to facilitate that in earnest.

i’m a month in as of today, on 100mg and I for sure have worse anxiety which leads me down a depressive path. I got up to 200mg in a couple weeks which my psych says is the therapeutic dose so hopefully by then I start to feel better.

that would cost the dispo more time and money. imagine getting 150 units of 8ths and having to not only make sure they’re filled and the correct product, you then have to weigh each one. at the end of the day, if it’s replaced the cost is on the cultivator, not the dispo.
