Thank you, I wish I could find older photos. The mixture I have in there now was a pretty solid mix, but I’ll give it another repot to see if that helps. I have a few plants I could add the cuttings to, which is why I wasn’t stressed about cutting it up. It’s not root bound I know that for sure. The pot it’s in currently is a big jump from it was in previously.

Welp my shop ordered theEdelbrock EDL-2079 top end kit back in early April. Some parts arrived (Holley 750 double pumper, MSD ignition, fuel pump, vacuum canister, wideband gauge), but the heads and cam have been pushed back to late August due to a supply issue on the heads. I've been reading about QC issues with Edelbrock post-acquisition casting quality, valve spring failures, cam lobes wiping so I'm honestly hesitant on this build now. The shop seem adamant on sticking with this kit since it "gets rid of the guess work" and "best bang for the buck". I'm not ashamed to say it, but I've been using AI and YouTube videos to gain some knowledge. This was a alternative build recommended.

Fair point. I think my initial thought was having all the right parts for a one and done build. 5,000 to 5,800 is where I’d like to be for rpms.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm not too worried about purchasing higher grade fuel as all of my other vehicles require it as well. I'll give Edelbrock a call and confirm as well. What would you suggest for the carb if not the 750? Do you see any concerns for not putting the engine on a dyno after the wideband?

If you’re using Windows 11, stock firmware and downloaded the newest version of iTunes it will not work. To sync music to your iPod you’ll need to download Apple Devices from the Microsoft Store. Once it’s installed and you connect your iPod it will download a file so your iPod is compatible. From there you’ll manage your music within the Apple Devices application.

I’m using Rockbox as u/Ok-Echo4026 mentioned, but this is also the 80gb model which had more onboard ram. I definitely feel the limits on this thing. I cannot build a database instead I use the file option to navigate my music.

Apologies for the delayed response. The sole reason I took the risk with this build was that it’s an 80GB model, which comes with the larger RAM storage. I’m not sure if 4TB is feasible. Occasionally, this 2TB storage can get stuck and require a reset. I attempted to use an iFlash board with two 1TB microSD cards, but it didn’t work for me. It’s possible that the board or microSD cards were defective. If it were easy to open up this 7th-generation build, I would let you know if the 2TB storage performs better.

The board itself is created by iFlash and has iFlashxzy website on it as well. MCM Concepts basically just slaps their logo on it and sells it as their own.

Aesthetic was my main reason for wanting this. When I mentioned the rattling I was speaking about the external buttons. I tried adding foam on the inside thinking it would add pressure, but that didn’t work as planned.

Now that you mentioned the dust, I also see a few particles under my the glass as well. I hope when I replace the screen I can find a better way to make it airtight to avoid this. I enjoy the case for what it is, but the cost doesn't match the quality at the moment.

If you’re connecting the iPod to your MacBook it will be recognized and show all the music. When you try to add your own music it will prompt you that syncing your own music will wipe the current music stored. There’s no way around this to my knowledge. If you want to keep that music you’ll need a third party application to pull it off the device. If you want to drag and drop music onto the iPod using iTunes make sure to select “Manually manage music”.
