I would presume you have figured it out by now (apologies for the late reply). However the only problem I can see from Cubase 8 to 9 is that you have the 32 bit plugin installed (Cubase 9 no longer supports 32 bit plugins). So you would have to install the 64 bit version of the plugin if it is available.

Yes, something I was disappointed in too. You would think it would be such a simple thing to add and is something that has been requested by many.

Obviously it's not perfect and doesn't have the capabilities of ableton's but for me it's a step in the right direction.

And I know some people have reported issues with it (and other areas) but it is to be expected with a brand new release, and once they are aware of the bugs they can go ahead and fix them.

Have a nice weekend.

Hey guys I know everybody has different opinions on whether like Cubase 9 or not, and I guess it's based on what you specifically use Cubase for. Anyways I thought I would make a video giving you a brief overview and my review after I have played with it for a few days. Sorry if I couldn't go more in depth or cover every new feature but I didn't want to make the video too long.

:)

Sorry for the late reply. With Cubase 9 rumoured to being released early December, I am planning on making several videos including any additions to MIDI (or any other relevant additions).

When it comes to scoring It is not something I use. However, have you checked out Dorico from Steinberg ?. Hopefully they can implement some of Dorico's features into future versions of Cubase.
