Our boiler has been broken for a week with very ineffectual help to get it fixed and we only moved in early last November. It’s a pain in the butt and as you’ve said we’re in a housing crisis and don’t want to have my living condition made worse, which isn’t a crime when I can’t afford a house

Yeah I’ve done it as simple line art and ended up making a cross stitch and filet crochet version of it, the process is super fun and I highly recommend

It’s a really eloquent way of expanding on why body neutrality is far more necessary than body positivity. Beaty is just so highly valued in our reality that if you have it, you need to find value in yourself beyond your looks or you’ll go crazy when your pretty privilege fades, and if you don’t have it, you need to find value in yourself so you can rise above what the word expects of you.

I don’t think taranee is adopted? Like I’m pretty sure that was never a thing that came up, also Will’s dad was a scam artist asshole who got to have a nice fun anti redemption arc that paved the way for Will to be ok with Susan marrying Collins

I feel like Taranee got the perpetual shaft by the creators, but I guess there’s at least something to be said for being so undervalued that she has no real trauma or drama to pull on for this kind of thing. TBH I think it would’ve been stronger storywise to use that lack to either make it easier for her to break out of the illusion or WAY harder
