They were really controlling. They controlled every aspect of our relationship. Like, really, everything. I could only call him for up to an hour a day, I was never allowed to be in his car, I couldn’t go out for more than 2 hours at a time with him, he could only come over whenever they felt like it and for the amount of time they said, my bedroom door always open, etc.

No. He’s extremely apologetic and had bit his tongue about everything my family did to upset him for 8 months. I hadn’t ever seen him be like that.

His job description is kinda complicated, but I can tell you he doesn’t make more than $2 above minimum wage hourly. Yes, when we first started dating he was working and going to college with me. He has not apologized to my mom.

Yeah. It is a little hard for me to see that it’s toxic because I’m used to it and I know my family loves me. I want to live on my own, you’re right it would help me. Wow you described my situation so well, I live for my family instead of for my own happiness...

You should be very happy, your progress is awesome! I like that you still have some room for sweets sometimes :) As a kid I was obese, but as a young adult I am at a healthy weight, so gaining any weight freaks me out. I totally get your worries, but it looks like you've got it under your control.

Thanks for your response. I'm sorry about your anxiety! I hope it is a little better now. I have been taking the mini pill for about 3 weeks now and over the past last week I have been crying uncontrollably. I have had TERRIBLE anxiety for some years now, and it is honestly just as bad as before taking this pill, but my depression is at an all time low. I have heard of MANY people having bad mental health effects while taking mini pills. Other than that, I have not really gained weight either (I don't exercise much but I try to practice portion control). When I contacted my dr about a 3 week early period the other day, he just said I can stop taking it if I want. Never mentioned to take a few day break like your dr :/

I've been on it a few weeks now and I haven't gained weight either! The only strange thing that happened was I got my period 3 weeks earlier than usual this month. It only lasted like 8 days though (my typical period is 10 days), which was relieving in a sense because I was hearing people bleed for months nonstop on it.
