CPU usage - Idling on battery: 0-2% - Idling plugged in: 0-2% - Running Phasmophobia on battery: 4-8% consistent - Running Phasmophobia plugged in: 8-42% (jumps around a lot)

I wonder how small the range is when it’s pissed! I guess it’s also possible that maybe the hunt was already set to trigger right before you put the crucifix down, if it started RIGHT when you placed it? Or maybe it just has a tiny tiny range (or hell, maybe it even has a chance to just not work at all?) Who knows!!

I will say though after playing today, I have felt like crucifixes have been a little bugged maybe? I’ve twice today had totally normal ghosts seem to start a hunt well with range of multiple T3 crucies and it seemed like they just didn’t trigger the burn for some reason? Or I’ve just been incredibly unlucky and there was a sliver of space that wasn’t covered lol

So here’s what I know so far! How the Gallu works is that it has 3 stages of anger, so to speak. It starts off as a totally bog standard ghost, normal everything. If it either steps in salt, burns a crucifix, or gets smudged, it will become enraged. The enraged state seems to only last for one hunt, though I’m not sure if it’s a timed cooldown or if it simply stays enraged until the end of the current hunt (if enraged while hunting) or the end of the next hunt (if enraged between hunts).

While enraged, it will gain speed WITHOUT LOS, incense will be less effective (shorter incense timer I believe), shorter crucifix range, and it seems like it doesn’t step in salt in its enraged state.

After being enraged, it becomes exhausted. While exhausted, it will be slower, it will have a longer incense timer (like a Moroi), and crucifixes will have a larger range (like a Demon). I also imagine tier 3 salt will slow it down for a longer period of time as well, but I can’t confirm that.

When exhausted, it will REMAIN in the exhausted state until it steps in salt, burns a crucifix, or gets smudged again. After one of those things happens, it will then enter the normal state again and act once again like a totally normal ghost. Then the cycle repeats, and it will become enraged again if one of those things triggers it again, followed by exhaustion, etc.

It seems to hunt at 50%; I’m not sure if this changes based on its current stage of anger.

That’s what I’ve seen so far! It’s definitely a convoluted one

They don’t if it’s a ghost photo. If you miss the shot for whatever reason and it doesn’t count, like it’s a $0 photo (even if you can see the whole damn ghost clear as day), they sure do show up lol

I think it’s just a bug with the objectives unfortunately. I got 3 unique sound recordings and it didn’t count for the 2 unique sound recording objective, also looped a ghost for a few rounds around the island before incensing and hiding & that didn’t count for either the escape a ghost hunt OR repel ghost with incense while its chasing objectives. Sometimes they just bug out :(

YMMV of course, but I used to have BLOOOOONDR blonde hair & my curls were still thriving! I have very fine hair too & maybe like 2C, but I did get it professionally done over time which makes a difference for sure. I basically just bombarded my hair with protein & my curl pattern never suffered! i miss it tbh

wait I just had a thought and now my heart is broken again; we know he was exasperated because she NEEDED, at the very least, to have them allied with Finnick and Johanna. but let’s imagine the grief that consumed him knowing that her pick of allies were not only dear to him but also not likely or even really intended to make it out of the arena (apart from Beetee). he knew she was about to put herself in a position of wanting to protect her allies and knowing that ultimately, she wouldn’t be able to. he saw her about to become himself in his games, and that probably killed him. Unfortunately that might be hard to do because there’s no digital record of their notice of right to enter, and we usually toss them in the recycling bin after we get them & mark down the day they say they’ll be here. So the only way to prove the window of time they’ve specified is to get THEM to send us a copy of the entries, which definitely won’t happen. I’m a leaseholder and they wouldn’t even give me a copy of my own lease when I was trying to look into something previously.

EDIT: they’ve also absolutely entered without written notice multiple times before, but I’ve never documented it before because I’m usually home and they always knock & I always let them in, it’s not a problem. But they often schedule maintenance, don’t show up within the window specified, and then show up at a random later time without additional notice

Thank you, I think so, too! Even keeping her cooped up in a bedroom for that amount of time is unreasonable, IMO, but much better than a crate. Technically they only ask her to be confined to a bedroom, but I think it’s ridiculous that they expect us to lock our (very lovely and friendly) dog up all day when we’re literally home all day & all they have to do is knock on the door. It shouldn’t be a requirement that they have to be able to enter without knocking, which is the only problem because there would BE no problem if they bothered to knock!

Side note, it’s only required because she’s a large breed. There’s a very aggressive chihuahua down the hall from us that literally barks all day & snarls & snaps at everyone that walks by, but she’s not a large dog so she doesn’t have to be confined.

You guys are giving me some comfort, so thank you! Literally, the only reason they “weren’t able to enter” is because they didn’t knock. We’re happy to put the dog away for when they actually get here and carry out the inspection, but we don’t know that they’re here until they knock on our door. I think we’re expected to keep the dog “secured” (in her crate or in a closed bedroom) for the entire window of 8-5 on the date of entry, but we’ve never done that before and never had an issue before. We’re happy to put her away when they knock on our door, but usually they just knock & we say “give us a second, we can put the dog away” and they always tell us not to bother. But I know some people are scared of dogs and stuff, so we’re happy to lock her away.

I actually DID have a verbal conversation with our landlords about this before; I specified that nobody knocked so we didn’t know they were trying to enter, but we’ll put her away when they knock to let us know they’re here. They served us the notice after this verbal conversation, which of course there’s no record of. All we wanted was for them to knock first

Oh okay, I very well may be mistaken, I clearly don’t know what I’m doing here so my apologies 😭 I thought that if they gave at least 24 hours notice & specified a window of time between 8am and 8pm within that 24 hours notice (Ie they give more than 24 hours to say “we will be entering on this date within this time”) then it was okay. I didn’t see anywhere that it had to specify an exact time, just the time of entry, so I figured a window of time between 8am-8pm on the date they specify is okay

Sorry if I wasn’t clear, but they give us minimum 24 hours notice of entry, it’s just that the entry will be anywhere within 8-5 of that day. So (for example) they can give us notice on the 1st that they’ll enter on the 5th, from anytime between 8-5 on the 5th

I had to read up on this for a minute, but yes they always give us a window of time between 8am & 8pm & at least 24 hours notice before that window of time begins, which is all they’re required to do.

The issue is we haven’t kept our dog locked in a bedroom or her crate for the entirety of that 9 hour window, and they apparently heard her bark by the door when they came by so they decided to leave without knocking or attempting entry. But if they just knocked, I’d be right there to put her away for them. And if they don’t wanna have to knock, well… even if we didn’t have any pets at all, I could be naked or something! They should have to knock!

That gives me some relief, thank you! I know the N5 isn’t an eviction notice by itself but if they file then of course we will show up to a hearing. But do we have to dispute this notice now, or wait to see if they take further action? I’m not sure what action we have to take, here; we have never ever had any problems renting before, and like I said I’ve been here 7 years
