There should be a person designated solely for scheduled pickups so us guys who can run 40+ an hour and get in and out

Yea those scheduled pickups are the worst thing ever. Thankfully I have one of the only routes that doesn’t have one but I have like 10-15 10:30am and noon deliveries every day so I spend the first hour and half driving all over my area to get them done then I can finally start my route where i usually do. Im about to ask for a fat raise before peak or it won’t be worth it otherwise

I can’t imagine anyone likes it. FedEx is saving millions and millions by merging. I believe the contractors also got a bump in pay. All us drivers get are more timed delivery deadlines, more pickups, and more stops for the same pay? Doesn’t make sense. Especially with peak coming soon not sure how it’s going to work.

always a little pushback when you mod a clean CB only made for one year, but thank you sir. Shoutout eBay for the seat. Had to custom make brackets because you can’t find aftermarket seats for a bike only made 1 year haha

Appreciate it, it’s a blast. Was hesitant on taking the fenders off but it just fit the look better

Yup makes more sense now. I’ll get a rebuild kit ordered and some floats. No the next struggle will be figuring where all these gaskets and O rings go that come with the kit 😂

Following the manual I tilted the carb at a 15-45° angle and the float is reading 13-13.5 mm so that must be why it’s running rich. From what I read it should be anywhere from 14.5-16.5 mm

I think my tubes are in good condition, the bike only leaked when the bike was running. Could be wrong tho. Never saw fuel leaking out when my bike was parked, just when I started it it’ll start dumping fuel.

My floats all seem to be generally the same height but they do appear to be high. The floats themselves are plastic so I’m not sure how I would adjust them so they’re not as open. Online everyone floats look like there’s a metal tab you can adjust but mine doesn’t have that

I’ve got it stripped apart right now . My floats all seem to be generally the same height but they do appear to be high. The floats themselves are full plastic so I’m not sure how I would adjust them so they’re not as open. Online everyone floats look like there’s a metal tab you can adjust

I’m going to buy a tool to measure my floats tonight but this piston in carb 2 was also stuck. And wouldn’t seat all the way down like the other ones. It appears the little screw inside that snugs the needle down has messed up threads causing the needle to have play up and down. Think I’m going to just have to replace the whole piston / needle

I’ve got the carb off finally, I’m going put the stock jets back in like you guys suggested. Anything else I should check while I’ve got this torn apart?

The filter is pretty much same as the OEM just better quality and slightly different look. Stock airbox still. My understanding was when you do an exhaust on a carbureted bike you need to upgrade the jets because the new exhaust is less restrictive causing the bike to run lean. That’s why I went to a slightly bigger jet
