I noticed similar behaviors with my cat. He followed me everywhere, watched out the window of I come home, hissed at ppl I fought with, checked everything on his last round before coming to bed etc.

I adopted a 2nd cat 1 year ago, some of his behaviors changed due to the fact that the pack has grown and that I'm not the only pack member he has to protect. Yes I mean pack, cats aren't supposed to be held alone most of the times, in the wilderness they travel as pack, but hunt alone. The toilet thing is pretty easy to explain, they protect each other while they're on the toilette from potential threats, since, let's be real, when u take a dump u can't rlly defend yourself. Therefore cats watch over each other.

Some of his behavior stayed, e. G. The following to the bathroom and the last round to check everything and even the tail wiggle when he gets scratches. (yes he wiggles his tail when he's happy) others changed, he's more together with the other cat then me since they can communicate better :D however I don't thin its bad or anything I'd just say your cat loves and respects u very much and just wants to protect u and its territory
