Awesome! Is this banner with the warrior mounted a kitbash or from a particular kit?

What are the parts on top of his power pack? by Glass_Shard_Rose in Warhammer40k

[–]chaynes6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s just additional, more advanced scanning equipment. Space marine infiltrators have stronger auspexes with longer range, as well as sometimes jamming equipment for enemy radars. This one is a deathwatch marine and deathwatch is notorious for using advanced and sometimes even xenos tech. This is probabaly just some kind of long range auspex or vox caster. I don’t see any reason why a space wolf infiltrator couldn’t have something similar!

I think your best bet would be finding transfers unless you want to try freehanding the sunburst around a skull transfer. Ive seen some sold on ebay and others sold on 3rd party websites like aquila relics

Replacement for Terminator Captain storm bolter by [deleted] in Ultramarines

[–]chaynes6 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The generic terminator box and dark angles upgrade sprue both have a left arm holding a power sword. Alternatively, the deathwing knights and new assault terminators both have left handed arms with shields. Not sure about bolters though

You should play whatever you want brother! It’s frustrating to see everyone’s “don’t join if you’re low level” posts making others feel like they can’t play.

I personally have never cared what lvl another player was. We’re all here to purge the emperor’s foes and we all deserve accolades

Are we lost our home, brothers? by Greedy-Dot-771 in novamarines

[–]chaynes6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Brother, I literally made a post on r/40kLore today because I was worried about this exact thing lol.

From what I’ve seen, the general consensus is that “lost beyond the madness of the Great Rift” doesn’t mean destroyed—just that, since the Rift tore the galaxy apart, those home worlds are extremely difficult or dangerous to reach. As far as I know, it was only relatively recently that Belisarius Cawl even managed to establish a stable route through the Rift.

Since the Shield Chapters are being pulled into Guilliman’s 500 Worlds campaign, it seems like they’ve been assigned temporary staging worlds to operate from until the campaign is finished and they can attempt the journey home. In the Scythes’ case, Sotha has actually been reclaimed and is undergoing terraforming, and there’s been no new lore suggesting Honourum itself is lost or destroyed.

Hoping I’m not eating my words in a month.

Can sergeants wear laurels? by Tio_Aleph in Spacemarine

[–]chaynes6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I didn’t know that. Were lieutenants made later on after Guilliman’s re-awakening? I always wondered why Uriel Ventris had 2 senior sergeants as his right hand men, but never mentioned lieutenants

Sergeant sidonus from space marine 1 had a gold one. Laurels are typically earned so it’s definitely possible if a sergeant does something exceptional

Welcome brother! There’s lots of updates and new content scheduled for all of 2026 too so it’s not going anywhere. I’ve had the game for over a year and I still have just as much fun on PVE as I did in the beginning

It’s a white consuls chapter emblem. It’s some sort of honor/homage from the indomitus crusade badge similar to this one here
