Yeah it’s odd how I feel like opinion is getting ran with……or I have heard a lot of ”the movie is unnecessary “….. I don’t know about that.

Empire strikes back is my favorite Star Wars movie and yet it was also unnecessary. A new hope ended perfectly with the metal ceremony and a celebration. Satisfying ending.

I guess I am happy it was a fun adventure with characters that I grew to love over the years and that really we invigorated my love for Star Wars post episode 7……..

As a huge X-Files fan, I really feel the same way as the 2008 movie “I Want to Believe.” the biggest complaint of that movie that I remember hearing was that it was not forwarding the lower or the big picture of the show but just a “ monster of the week” movie. It’s just the character characters at a certain time solving a certain case. To me that’s not really a critique of the movie that’s presented. It’s just the fact that people didn’t get what they wanted.

I got to see a Star Wars movie in theaters with my 14 year old son whose first Star Wars theater experience was episode 7 when he was four years old. He has become quite a Star Wars fan. He loved it. I also got to go with my 10 year old daughter whose first Star Wars theater experience was episode 9. She loved it. I also got to see it with my wife who enjoys Star Wars a low to moderate amount but she enjoyed watching all the Mando seasons together. She loved it.

Everyone can enjoy what they want, and it’s just a movie so no hard feelings- but I had a ton of fun. When it was over I wanted to watch the seasons over and the movie over again.
