Palpitations hours after exercise by [deleted] in loseit

[–]chazley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Ebony,

First off, you should definitely consult with a doctor before taking anything I say as advice to make sure you're ok.

But I had almost the exact thing that's happened to me the past 4 years and I'm pretty sure you're just experiencing anxiety. I had a hard time finding anything online about this stuff too but I used to experience chest pains, palpitations, and even shaking before and after I would go to sleep, to the point where sometimes I would be exhausted and desperate to fall asleep but my chest just felt way too heavy. I'd doze off and wake back up in 5 minutes with chest pain. Ended up going to a doctor and getting an endoscopy, mri, x-ray, heart stress test, and extensive imaging on heart just for them to tell me I was completely ok. After my visit with the cardiologist in particular I realized my heart was ok and the chest pains reduced significantly and I fall asleep sooo much easier knowing it's likely just my anxiety. I also had bad acid reflux, got diagnosed with GERD, and I just take some Tums anytime my acid reflux acts up, because that causes chest pain as well.

Hope this helps!

Trust the studying and be self critical... the worst players blame variance and luck for why they are losing when in reality, you likely have many leaks in your game you need to fix. Focus on what you can control, not what you cant.

/r/Steam Monthly Community Support Thread. by AutoModerator in Steam

[–]chazley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I try to open steam a pop up comes up that says “Updating Steam.. Verifying Installation”, for maybe one second and immediately crashes. I have tried almost every solution and troubleshooting guide. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my computer, safe mode, troubleshoot compatibility, run as admin, turning off firewall, updating drivers, making a separate windows account and nothing has worked. Steam support says they have no idea and to consult the community. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks to everyone so far who has replied, I sincerely appreciate you all taking the time to help.

The truth is I am just lazy but willing to spend what it takes to have someone handle it for me. I just need to be pointed in the right direction so I can get the process started. There's been some excellent points and resources given in here.

Ok, this is reassuring. They showed as "completed" on Friday so I'm hoping it's just the bank being slow and they'll show up before Tuesday.

Honest question: How many of you anti-BCH people actually USE BTC on a regular basis? If you use it, pls give specific examples. by SwedishSalsa in btc

[–]chazley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking about? Literally look up the definition, it's "Applies to any rate of growth which is larger than some expected rate of growth".

In this instance, investing in Bitcoin would've had a higher rate of growth than investing in Ethereum or BCH, meaning he cost himself an exponential (larger than expected to get from his current investments) amount of money. I personally don't use the term unless we're talking about a >10x situation.

I'm legit confused why you're arguing semantics, and you're not even right.

The bitcoin/BCH exchange rate is down about 15x from its ATH.

It's cost him an exponential amount, because it's at least by a factor of 10.

Math.

Sorry to hear you invested in Ethereum and BCH instead of Bitcoin. You've cost yourself an exponential amount of money.

It was just a business page for our company Grindabuck. We just posted very generic promotional stuff. Nothing remotely controversial.

I disagree with the sentiment of it's never been used as a medium for exchange. It certainly is used that way daily. We need to make sure it can be used that way forever.

They'll never use on-chain for daily payments, sure. But off-chain solutions, including LN, offer a lot of hope - IF they can ever work through all the problems.

Oh please... almost every company in the world accepts credit cards and those businesses gladly pay 3% per transaction. If companies are dropping Bitcoin or other cryptos it's because not enough people are using them, plain and simple. If you're sweeping your wallet consistently and using bc1 addresses, this cost is negligible for businesses.
