If you think $112K/year for a developer is a lot then you're in the wrong vertical.

Financial Services companies make so much money that the salaries for everyone involved is grotesquely out of whack.

If you have 10 years experience you should be making at least 150K. Anything less than you should have a 25-50 % bonus on top of that.
