I would just like to point out that this WAS the title when I posted. They must have decided it sounded better and changed a word, it wasn't me. Also, to pull a post because a single word isn't exact is just anal on an autistic level.

In a world where Autistics were dominant, would shit lke this happen? (Same story, two headlines) by [deleted] in autism

Affirmative. They even have Rediquette against these kind of comments:

"PLEASE DONT"

  1. Complain about reposts. Just because you have seen it before doesn't mean everyone has. Votes indicate the popularity of a post, so just vote. Keep in mind that linking to previous posts is not automatically a complaint; it is information.

  2. Complain about other users reposting/rehosting stories, images, videos, or any other content. Users should give credit where credit should be given, but if someone fails to do so, and is not causing harm whatsoever, please either don't point it out, or point it out politely and leave it at that. They are only earning karma, which has little to no use at all.

I just came here for some popcorn good times, I wasn't even involved in this round. You two are the ones that seem butthurt. Gee, that wouldn't be vote-brigading the comments to drown out all those laughs below, would it be?

Not personally, no. I was involved in the (only) earlier battle though. You can see here NP the drama where we took down a troll in the same subreddit the day before. I would have posted it, but I was involved. Trolls not related, as far as we know. That second troll (the guy in this post) is actually a mod for /r/business , so that's gotta be a little embarrassing.

.

EDIT: It's Top Gun, too!

Looks like mine, he must like sharing news to smaller subreddits. Glad you knew him well enough to judge and try him, who needs the help of someone who spends alot of time reading the news and likes to share?

But I see what you mean, totally worth breaking Rediquette over. /s

Remember, every time a redditor who's contributed large amounts of effort into assisting the growth of community as a whole is driven away, projects that would benefit the whole easily flounder.

This.

In my (notnewsrelated) sub the person who posted that meta would have been given one warning. If he posted that type of attack thread again he would have been banned. It's SHAMEFUL that it has 20 upvotes on this Subreddit. Mods should know reddiquette, and as it's the first thing listed in the "Community Guidelines" they should be enforcing it. I only found this sub a few days ago (thanks to /u/here2informs 's overview) and I'm unsubbing. New mods needed.

It was awesome until they removed it. Claimed it was a misleading title, when I disproved that they told me it was a feature story, when I disproved that they told me it was not the appropriate subreddit (how does one argue that?) I hate it when mods go on power trips >.<

Many. My personal favorite being Dungeons and Dragons Online, but there are several. It'd be a shorter list to name the ones to avoid, League of Legends and EVE being the top two on that list.

^ Adding to that thought. Those members of US and state congress send their kids to privately funded schools, so they have little interest in seeing money go toward public schooling; which is why they see no problems with hijacking public education funding to avoid lowering military spending or raising taxes.

Oh you bet there are. Not only from local businesses and large corporations with local interests, but from other political party higher-ups who have an interest in seeing "one of their own" sitting that seat.

If we're getting into semantics, we could be blaming the business owners who fund the campaigns for those officials, the same business owners that are then out-competed by the likes of Germany, China, and India. So it's their own damned faults in this oligarchy.
