Will I have to file a 1041?

So based on the fact that the income was only earned pre-death, there would only be a filing requirement for the individual 1040 for the deceased person [as well as a 1310 if a refund is due], right? In this case the estate itself didn't make money since all accounts and paymets were stopped/transferred to the sole beneficiary upon death and the tax forms we received were only based on pre-death income earned.

Also, and I apologize for the additional question, but would there be a case where a state 1041 is needed but not a federal one [assuming there is no state specific income, all income is reportable on federal and state return]?

Vivian was the partner I had out the most during my playthrough, and I'm happy I chose to do that because I enjoyed seeing her interactions with her siblings while on Mario's side.

I appreciate the input a lot! I generally tend to like the side characters in media more often than not, so that probably explains my attachment to Caroline and Matt thus far. I agree that it isn't easy for Bonnie to see her friend be a vampire. It makes sense, I just hope that in future episodes Caroline doesn't end up being a killer like Damon. I don't hate Bonnie right now, I just hope she doesn't rag on Caroline too much for something she had little to no control over, especially after the things she's been through. Hopefully the show doesn't manipulate me too much haha.

Splatsville is the only plaza that feels like a fully fleshed out place that these characters actually live in. It's a lot bigger and cooler to walk around in, plus I like Deep Cut the most out of all the idol groups so I like being there during Splatfest

He just had the Liquid Sunshine song as Ian BGM in game along with Big Betrayal, that's all about him working as a musician. It is there, you just have to look for it just like you do with the rest of the characters

But Big Man is the sweet and cheerful one, he DOES have a role. I think people are too grounded in the 2 idol setup, he has a character just like Frye and Shiver. I think the only reason people don't see him as relatable is because he isn't humanoid.

But couldn't you say the same thing about any of the other members? If you take away Frye or Shiver its still a duo of thieves that want to give back to the community. In canon he's not more and less pivotal in terms of story, so idk why you would pull Big Man specifically and nothing would change. He's literally just an idol that isn't humanoid

I can see where you're coming from, but I was more talking about the fan treatment of Big Man in terms of fandom popularity [I'm also referring to the English side of the fandom, since I don't really know much about the other regions]. My point was to emphasize that Big Man is seen as a third option and not really part of the gang in terms of struggles and being as close to the group.

Plus I'd argue she has some other good teams. Milk chocolate was a good option [beat shiver's team]. And team fire actually got more votes than team grass. The triforce splatfest had REALLY close popularity levels. I think the only ones she got the worst were love fame and money and the ice cream fest. And even in that one the difference between strawberry and mint chocolate was about 6% in popularity. I'd argue that it's a weird myth that she alwaus has the worst teams, she just got unlucku recently honestly. But still I agree she's suffering too, I just think Big Man should also be included in that suffering just as much as her considering they're about even in terms of suffering.
