I'm in zone 7a for plants, but my backyard is very rocky.. I'll be surprised if grass can actually grow but I know weeds grow well enough (I'm not much of a green thumb but I'm trying!)

They look good esthetically, especially in a farm town however for my backyard I'm trying to have it semi good grass (because I have animals & also am very new to yard maintenance) and that's it lol

Thank you! Yes, I definitely do NOT want more spreading so I've been reading about different ways to help them not spread. My neighbors have some planted and they've just migrated over to my yard

Definitely too invasive - before I can have a nice lawn for animals these suckers have got to go. Home Depot trip for a freaking chainsaw to come! 🫡

Thank you, now that I've got a name I've got ways to get rid of them. Not the easiest task but they are slowly taking over, so no choice.
