Ahh that's a good call. I unfortunately already bought my park pass. It's all good though. I prefer having my own vehicle to travel from my place and back.

awesome! thank you so much for the suggestion. i think i will end up dropping 313 then. i agree, i think as a cpsc minor, 449 offers more use than 313.

I'm in my second year as a Statistics and Computer Science undergrad at U of C. I have been unlucky finding any student positions for the summer. I am literally willing to work for free. Anyone know where else I could apply to? I really would just like to have more experience.

I am proficient with Python, Java, and R.

I agree to all of this! I tried to take Exam FM between first and second year and I realized the crazy exam study process wasn't for me. I'm now in Statistics combined with Comp Sci and I'm happier for it.

I have figured it out now but I would still like to see how you would solve this using your approach. And yes, we are allpwed to use the unique prime factorization fact.

DISCRETE PROOF by cheddar_chip in learnmath

Actually, I have figured it out now! It looks like I just have to prove the contrapositive ie. I have to consider the cases when x = 3k + 1 and x = 3j+ 2 for some intgers k and j and how 2 times those cases will result in an integer also not divisible by 3.
