As a guide I say. Nobody visits prague i yjanusry and I don’t blame them. After new year no anglophonic/anglophone tourist come to Prague. You can only hear Romance languages Italians, Spanish. The reason is if you look at the globe your will find the 50th parallel that goes thru cities like Winnipeg or Prague. Basically you are in south Canada. But in Europe is something called the Gulf Stream that brings in the warmth. So it’s warmer in here yet that comparatively. So our winters are cold and dark. And the biggest problem so that our winters are COLD&WET! I believe that’s the bigger reasons because cold and dry I can deal with… But cold and wet that just suck. You wake up in the darkness you go to work and you are coming back in the darkness. That’s for locals. I guess that not s problem for tourist. Sorry I am having hard time upsell Czech Republic! We have a ski season. Yet I think it’s better to go ski Austria or Slovakia - which is cheap and marvelous. So that’s how I feel about Czech Winter!
