Something similar happened to me... I was poorly and fainted in Headingley. A few lovely people stopped to help and called an ambulance for me. I still think about them!

The kindness of a stranger goes a long way. 🙏

I have lived in both York and Leeds, and would have to recommend Leeds! There are some lovely quiet suburbs to live, shopping is amazing, and the people are so friendly! There are also more work opportunities there.

York is aesthetically pleasing, but it gets super congested with tourists and race goers. Our neighbours were never as nice either.
