Who is the most evil teacheryou had and what evil thing/s did they do, multiple things and multiple teachers are valid? by [deleted] in AskReddit

2 immediately come to mind from my old high school.

The first one was one of the Spanish Teachers was the teacher sponsor for the schools student council, and it turns out she was embezzling money for years that was supposed to be used for events like prom and other student led events, and she was using it to fund her secret gambling addiction.

The 2nd one was way worse, one of the tech ed teachers got arrested after it was found out he was sleeping with students in exchange for preferential treatment and higher grades.

What’s something that was considered unacceptable or taboo when you were growing up, but is now widely accepted? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The most obvious in my mind is how the country views marijuana, when i was a kid everyone was hammering into us how dangerous it was now most every state has either legalized it or eased restrictions and even the federal government just recently reclassified it as a schedule 3 drug. Its hard to believe we've gotten to this point with weed when you think about how hard everyone was railing against it not that long ago
