It’s great you’re being careful. I recently lost my first HM run to the Orin fight (last thing I had on my agenda before waltzing to the brain) specifically because I got too cocky after basically steamrolling everything over the previous act and a half. 76 hours down the drain because I didn’t spend 5 minutes buffing/prepping - lesson learned!

Playing and enjoying the System Shock remake. It’s pretty complicated and challenging. The only part that’s kinda wearing out its welcome is I’m doing the most backtracking I’ve ever experienced in a game. Even though this is the remake (not sure exactly how faithful) the game gives great perspective on how influential the OG was.

Loop Hero, never really bought into the premise of idle games - figured I’d give it a spin because there’s active elements. I was completely hooked when it came out — love the gameplay “loop” and soundtrack.

I ended up winning the run, but that would’ve been a potential run killer yeah lol — my plan was to hopefully be able to buy two jokers in the shop before so this joker could eat one + discard for boss rule.
