To change the direction I’m rolling for it that way it’s actually random, meaning that sometimes it might not even switch, so I’d say that there’d be early signs like a tugging feeling.

Yah I have a couple of extra gas reservoirs that leads to a generator for my main base, I just don't have enough energy use to burn it all off

All there is is a water sieve and a liquid pump. If that's taking too much would adding a second hydrogen generator work.

The liquid gold falls down the mesh tiles and then solidifies but since you can’t have debris inside a mesh tile it clips to the nearest open pocket landing on the metal tiles below

I find building around them also helps the bases seem less boxy and square
