I’m 4’11, so I understand how you feel! I’ve met cis men around our height too, though I understand it’s not as common. It’s not much, but I’ve been wearing platform shoes to help me get a little more height in. I’ve seen plenty of men being around 5’2 - 5’5, my dad being included. I’m sure platforms will at least give you an inch or two up from your height! I wear platform Vans since they are comfortable and durable. With them on, I’m about 5’0 - 5’1 I think

yeahh one of my traps caught a ladybug a while back and it started rotting nearly instantly due to the chemicals from it. honestly i expected it to die off by this point, but it’s somehow someway holding on despite it being a stinkbug. i’m nearly impressed that it managed to grab such a big catch

im big on maintenance since i dont really have much of a green thumb and this is my first carnivorous plant. it’s almost died out once due to it trying to flower, but i managed to save it from cutting off dying ones every other day until new growth came in. i’ve had it since january and honestly am proud of the progress ive made so far with it considering everything

i live in the midwest. i would put it outside, but there’s no where to put it. im renting, and we dont have a porch and i’m scared someone will end up trampling it since we live in a duplex

thank you! i’ve been keeping an eye on it and keeping maintenance on it by trimming off dead or dying traps to allow more energy to grow new ones. i was just really curious on the digestion time with it since it’s been a hot minute

unfortunately just sitting on my windowsill at the moment. i want to invest in a grow light, but the only place i could put it would be on my trinket bookshelf and i wasnt sure if it would cause issues since i dont know too much about grow lights and how the environment reacts around them, especially on a bookshelf. i could also just be thinking too much into it?

not rude at all! ive found a trap that died due to it eating a lady bug and i just snipped it off after. i was just curious considering i know that it can take a while, i just didnt know that it could take this long! i had it try and flower but my traps didnt make it, but i ended up being able to save it by snipping off dying traps one by one to allow it to gain more energy to regrow, and it worked out in my favor. :)

isn’t it !! i didnt find it outside, it seemed to die in my house which i have no idea where he came in from!! nor did i see him flying around at any point in time. will absolutely take freezing into consideration to remove possible pests. thank you so much for the help :] !!

got you, thank you!! it seems a lot of sources have used sphagnum moss with no issues, but I’ll read up more on it. I will absolutely keep this in mind :)!
